Terms & Conditions

  1. WagDays agree to provide a trustworthy, caring and reliable service to the Client and their dog.
  2. WagDays will not confirm booking until a trial walk / consultation has taken place and an agreement has been signed by the Client.
  3. The Client is responsible for all harm or damage caused by their dog while they are under the care of WagDays, or are using any other services provided by WagDays, and agrees to indemnify WagDays in full against any liability arising from such harm or damage to third parties.
  4. The Client agrees to provide their dog’s collar / harness with a tag engraved with the Owner’s name and address on as stated by law.
  5. The Client agrees that their dog is microchipped before their first booking with WagDays to meet requirements stated under The Control of Dogs Order 1992.
  6. The Client agrees to provide towels in an accessible area for WagDays staff to dry the dog when returning them home from a walk if this is necessary.
  7. The Client agrees that, in booking their dog into any service offered and provided by WagDays, WagDays has relied on the Client’s to inform WagDays that their dog is in good health and has not harmed or shown aggression or threatening behaviour toward any person or any other dog.
  8. For group walks, all dogs will be taken for a trial walk by WagDays staff prior to using any WagDays Services. This is a short assessment to determine the dog’s behavior whilst on a walk. WagDays and their staff reserves the right to refuse any dog that they deem to be, or have the potential to be, dangerous or disruptive.
  9. For Training services, WagDays staff will meet the dog and owner prior to them using any WagDays Services. This is both for WagDays and the dog or puppy’s owner to determine whether the services are the best fit for that dog/puppy. WagDays and their staff reserves the right to refuse any dog if they do not think the dog is suited to their services.
  10. The Client agrees to notify WagDays immediately of any unwelcome, aggressive, procreative, or dangerous behaviour of their dog that has the potential to cause harm to any other dog or individual.
  11. WagDays offer services where dogs interact with one another in groups and the Client accepts that during the course of normal dog play their dog may sustain injuries. When dogs are playing, they will be carefully monitored by WagDays staff but despite the best supervision, the following may occur; scratches, punctures, torn ligaments, or other injuries.
  12. WagDays will only let dogs off the lead once an ‘off the lead consent form’ has been signed by the Client, and will remain at the discretion of WagDays staff when and if that particular dog is let off the lead.
  13. The Client is responsible for the full cost of treatment of any injuries or illness that their dog receives while under the care of WagDays, along with any associated costs for example; call-out charges. The Client authorises the staff of WagDays to seek such veterinary advice and/or treatment as they deem necessary; where possible this will be carried out by the Client’s usual/preferred Vet, but this cannot be guaranteed (e.g. in an emergency) and the Client accepts that the staff of WagDays may at their discretion use any registered Vet. The Client agrees to pay all such costs immediately upon pick-up of their dog, or by agreement with the proprietor.
  14. The Client agrees to indemnify WagDays in full against any liability for illness, injury or death of their pet.
  15. Payment for all services must be paid in full within 7 days of WagDays notifying the Client of how much is owed. This is to be paid via cash or bank transfer. If payment is not made within this time, outstanding payments will be added to the next bill. Failure to make payment on this next bill, within the 7-day period, WagDays reserves the right to cease the services until all outstanding payments have been made in full.
  16. WagDays reserves the right to refuse enrolment if the Client fails to provide proof of vaccinations for each dog (including bordetella), or the vaccinations are found to be expired or otherwise incomplete.
  17. The Client accepts that even though their dog is vaccinated against Bordetella (Kennel Cough) there is a chance that their dog can still contract Kennel Cough. The Client agrees that they will not hold WagDays responsible if their dog contracts Kennel Cough while in WagDays care.
  18. Bitches may not attend WagDays whilst in season or pregnant. WagDays reserves the right to refuse admission if the client does not inform us of this and will be returned home if this is noticed by WagDays staff during the use of services.
  19. The Client agrees to take necessary measures and precautions to ensure that their dog is always free of contagious and infectious diseases. The Client also agrees to notify WagDays immediately of any infectious and/or contagious disease or conditions their dog has been exposed to or is affected by. Such diseases and conditions include, but are not limited to: Distemper, Hepatitis, Kennel Cough (Bordetella), Parvovirus, Fleas, Worms, Lyme disease, Pregnancy, Infectious Skin Diseases and Intestinal Parasites. WagDays reserves the right to refuse admission until satisfied that this has been resolved by the Client.
  20. The Client consents to their dog being photographed, videotaped, and/or used in any media or advertising by WagDays without prior approval. All such media remain the property of WagDays.
  21. The Client agrees that WagDays is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged leads, harnesses, collars, tags, clothing or any other item left with their dog.
  22. The Client agrees to ensure their dog has not eaten in the hour before pick up by WagDays or before their visit by WagDays to ensure sufficient time to digest food before any exercise or play. Failure to do so may result in the potentially life-threatening condition Bloat (Gastric Torsion).
  23. The Client agrees to provide keys or arrange access to the dog for the day(s) of their booking; failure to do so will result in a cancellation for that day’s service and will be paid in full by the client.
  24. The Client gives consent for staff of WagDays to enter their home to gain access to their pet for the required service.
  25. The Client agrees that, by signing the key holder waiver form this will indemnify WagDays in full against any liability arising from loss or damage to the property or its contents, in present and future circumstances.
  26. WagDays agrees to hold all keys provided by the Client, separate to their contract information in a safe and secure place only accessible by WagDays staff.
  27. It is the Client’s responsibility to provide WagDays with clear instructions on any security alarm setting and disarming an intruder alarm. WagDays cannot accept responsibility for any costs relating to the Client’s security alarm systems.
  28. The Client agrees that WagDays is not responsible for any damage to Client’s property or that of other’s property caused by their pets in our care.
  29. For cancellations of walks and pet visits, 24 hours notice is required. If the required notice is not given charges will be applied in full for the cancelled service(s).
  30. The Client agrees that should their dog sustain a minor injury whilst in our care, we will try to call the emergency contact provided first, however if their dog sustains a serious injury, we will contact a veterinarian first, followed by a call to the emergency contact provided.
  31. WagDays reserves the right to return their dog home from a walk early in extreme weather conditions which can include but is not limited to thunder storms and extreme heat. The Client consents to WagDays deciding when it is in the dog’s best interest to do this and full payment of the service will be paid by the Client as normal.
  32. It is the Client’s responsibility to raise any concerns before booking or complaints thereafter to WagDays staff. We welcome feedback and comments on our services so we can ensure that we provide the best possible service to you and your pets.
  33. WagDays will confirm in writing to the Client if there are any variation or updates of these Terms and Conditions.
